Our workshops are delivered by only the finest in their field: Apple Regional Training Centres, Master Trainers, innovative companies and outstanding local schools.

You will have plenty of chances to talk with each workshop leader throughout the day, and will have the opportunity to get the answer to your ICT questions.

Simon Elliot - Mount's Bay Academy

Simon Elliot

Simon Elliott has been a teacher since 1992, moving from Chemistry in his early career to specialising in the IT and Computing Curriculum at Key Stages 1 to 5 for the past 15 years in West Cornwall. He has worked in the maintained and independent sectors, as well as a pastoral role within a boarding environment and within an LEA IT Support team.

He is currently a Computing at School Master Teacher and has recently been designated as an SLE within the Applied Minds Teaching School Alliance in West Cornwall.

Within his current role as Director of Digital Technologies at Mounts Bay Academy in Penzance, he has worked with iPads in a 1:1 deployment since November 2011 and spent two years researching the impact of iPads on students on the Autistic Spectrum for his Master's Degree. The findings are available on his website

Giles Hill - Mount Hawke Academy

Giles Hill

Giles Hill is an IT-specialist primary school teacher / trainer and technology writer. He organises and delivers iPad training sessions at Truro Apple Regional Training Centre, based within Mount Hawke Academy.

He passionately believes that children should be given access to all sorts of technology at school, while knowing that teachers need easy-to-follow workflows and solutions they can rely on in everyday teaching.

Tom has been involved with Apple Solutions for over 5 years, and has helped to integrate revolutionary technology nationwide. Tom often receives praise for his thorough and engaging training style, which focuses on how Apple software and the national curriculum fit together.

With a passion for education and technology, Tom has helped many Primary and Secondary schools drive their vision forward.
